Hurricane Season is Here

Dear Resident, 

We are firmly in hurricane season which runs from June 1 to November 30. As a reminder here are some things that you should do to prepare for any potential storm and links to resources should you need them.

Villas Del Sol Condominiums (VDS) Board of Directors also have a plan in place should a storm impact our community. Should there be any impact to our community VDS will send out information prior to the storms approach and provide updates via email when possible. If any damage occurs at VDS resulting from the storm information will be sent out regarding next steps. It is important to note that if you see any damage to please report it immediately to VDS by sending an email to emergency@vdscondosorlando.com, please include a picture and location of the damage. 

Always remember to follow local City, County, and State orders pertaining to evacuations, shelter in place, and curfews. 

Ahead of any storm please ensure the following is completed: 

• tie down or bring inside any loose items on your patio
• take pictures of the inside and outside of your unit
• update your contact information with the HOA
• secure windows and doors (do not use tape as it can make things worse)
• Build a kit (water, non-perishable food, medicine, extra batteries, items for kids, items for babies, items for pets, important documents, flashlights, battery powered fan)
• charge all devices
• fill up all your vehicles
• have an evacuation plan

Now is the time to be prepared and have a plan.
